    Terms & Conditions of Agreement

    Guest Contributor (You) agrees to allow Startup Commons to publish original articles written by You (the "Posts") on the Startup Commons web site, applications, and its subdomains as well as the web sites and applications of its partners. You grant Startup Commons the non-exclusive, worldwide, right to publish on startupcommons.org, syndicate, and distribute all or a portion of the Posts in any language, worldwide, under most flexible Creative Commons license for maximum distribution.

    You grant Startup Commons the right to use Your name, likeness, information about You, and the logo of Your web site, if applicable, in connection with the Posts.

    Except for the rights granted Startup Commons in this agreement, You retain all rights, including copyright, in the Posts.

    You represent and warrant that You have the right to grant these rights; that the Posts are original; that they do not knowingly contain any untrue statements, invade any right of privacy, or infringe upon any statutory or common law copyright or otherwise violate the rights of any third party; and that all statements in the Posts that are asserted as facts are true and/or based upon reasonable research for accuracy.

    Startup Commons reserves the right to remove from startupcommons.org any of the Posts that violate its publishing standards.

    Startup Commons may illustrate the Posts and alter your original headline. You grant Startup Commons the right to edit the Posts to correct grammar, usage or punctuation before publication. Posts published on Startup Commons will remain in perpetuity

    Neither You nor Startup Commons may assign this Agreement, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of the other party. Any attempt to assign this Agreement in violation of this Section shall be null and void. 
    This Agreement will not be construed to and does not create a relationship of agency, partnership, employment or joint venture or any other fiduciary relationship between the parties. 

    Either party may cancel this agreement at any time. Upon termination, Startup Commons will stop syndicating new content, but all content prior to cancellation will remain with Startup Commons.
