As part of our work with various startup ecosystems around the world we come across with both the need to learn from best practises from other regions and to learn from other ecosystems developers. To gain external perspective and support for their own local ecosystem developments.
We also know there are great best practises that have been developed and validated in real ecosystems, as well as many exceptional and dedicated people in various core roles, with great practical expertise at different levels of developing and supporting their own local startup ecosystems.
While we focus on our core expertise in helping to build and deploy standardized KPI's and Digital solutions, we are always thinking of ways of how Startup Commons can help local ecosystem developments beyond our own core focus areas and actual projects. This is also the reason why we contribute and share a lot of knowledge beyond our core areas as well.
We want to expand our knowledge and tools resources to also help support sharing of these local best practises, as well as help connecting with great ecosystem developer people from different startup ecosystems around the world.
To do this, we are looking for following:

We want to expand our knowledge and tools resources to also help support sharing of these local best practises, as well as help connecting with great ecosystem developer people from different startup ecosystems around the world.
To do this, we are looking for following:
- Help documenting and sharing best support functions practises in transferrable and useful ways on our website and as part of our recommendation in our own development work.
- List profiles of ecosystem developer people with short bios and links to deeper profiles and work, who already have great experience from their own ecosystems and are interested to support developing other startup ecosystems beyond their own.
- List profiles of Startup Mentors with short bios and links to deeper profiles and work, who have great subject matter experience and are interested to travel and provide their knowledge and expertise in different forms.
So, if you are:
- a creator or operator of a great startup support function (policy, support services, funding instrument etc.) and would like to document and publish your support function as shared best practice to help other ecosystem developments (and also learn from best practises of others sharing as well).
- an active ecosystem developer person in your local startup ecosystem interested in contributing beyond your own ecosystem (or already doing so), to have you profile listed on our new section, to be available for ecosystem development projects in other regions or countries
- an experienced mentor for one or more key topics related to startups or innovation, and would like to have your profile listed to be available to share your expertise in formats like; providing workshops and training, speak or take part in the panel discussion in startup events or join other support services and programs mentor pool.
Please follow the relevant links below for next steps.
If you want to contribute in more than one way, feel free to fill in multiple forms behind the links, so when publishing the best practise, we can also link to your profile to help implement or take part in delivering the model.
